Putting those notifications off

Can you guys make a way to put off those notifications besides pressing on 'off' on every page you type a message on? It's quite annoying to do this every time. The same goes for those e-mails, I'd like to stop getting mails from this site every 2 hours or so. If you can manage that, I would be very happy.

explain further. I'm not necessarily understanding what your saying... Notifications? What notifications? And what emails?

Right above in the screen there's a bar with notifications. Right now it says there are 5 notifications from you, because you have reacted on my posts. I don't want to see those anymore, since it's quite annoying. Can you take make an option to stop this, besides going to every page you that I have posted so far and say 'stop watching this topic'?
