Practicing your deck

Their are certain i learn to become really good with the decks i build and use. In real life and out of real life.

       The First step is practicing. All you need to do is build a deck, and play against somebody. Simple, But can you get to the point to where you can memorize your cards in 2 battles? That's what I do. I take the first 2 battles, and i take a while ot read my cards over and over again so that I know the in and outs of my deck.

Learning your own cards is indeed the first step.
But then there's the second step, knowing your opponent's effects. I know that it takes a long time to predict what your opponent is using if you are inexperienced, but when you eventualy do this, you can also make more combo's with your own. Because no duelist have literally figured everything out by his/her own.

I highly recommand any inexperienced player to start with something simple, like old-school elemental hero or a simple banish deck. This will result at the start in many losses, but it gives you something to practise with.

In a few weeks you probably have seen all the methods of summoning and have seen the current meta, so you know what's common and what isn't. If that's not the case, you should play more often against high-rated duelists.

And if you just play for fun, then try to find something original. Most people appriciate it. Anyway, good luck with your time with the game.
